"When I retired 6+ years ago, I set out to find a personal trainer to help me achieve a healthier, more active lifestyle after too many years behind a desk. I had many aches and pains, little enthusiasm for exercise, poor eating habits and trouble sleeping. I was so lucky to find Beth. A personal trainer who was excited to work with me, and so enthusiastic that she convinced me I could achieve all my goals and more, and, have fun in the mean time. I persuaded my husband to join me and Beth started coming to our home twice a week for sessions. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Beth talked to each of us and worked out an exercise plan that would be beneficial for both. In short order, we began to limber up, stretch out and gain muscle strength. Over the years, Beth has worked with us doing exercises in the pool and in the house. And we have come so far under Beth's careful guidance. Not only did she help us improve our physical bodies, she taught us nutrition, eating habits and lifestyle changes. She took us shopping at Trader Joe's to learn about reading labels and finding the best foods. She shared some wonderful recipes and gave me cooking lessons. Between us, my husband and I have lost over 50 pounds and are still shedding unwanted weight. We have benefitted greatly from Beth's knowledge of physical and nutritional health,her patience, her sense of humor, her warmth and her never ending enthusiasm helping us be the we can be.
